Authentic Storytelling: Jerry Won

The Asian Student Union welcomes Jerry Won, CEO of Just Like Media, to present a seminar entitled: "Authentic Storytelling." On behalf of Faculty Advisors Jordan VanHemert and Amy Otis, and ASU President Susan Par, we welcome all students, faculty, and staff who would like to connect with Mr. Won to attend on Monday evening via Zoom (link on flyer).
Won will share about his journey as a 1.5 Gen Korean American who pursued higher education and corporate careers in sales, consulting, and startups and how his life experiences led him to make Asian American storytelling and the elevation of Asian American voices his mission and business.
Jerry Won is a storyteller, brand builder, and community leader. He is the Founder & CEO of Just Like Media, an Asian American storytelling company whose brands include Dear Asian Americans, Beyond the Resumes, MBAsians, The Janchi Show, and Asian Podcast Network. He is the CEO of The Podcast Firm, a podcasting production, consulting, and education company. Prior to podcasting, he was a strategy consultant at Accenture and sales leader at start-ups and F500 companies. Jerry has a BS from USC Marshall and an MBA from Michigan Ross School of Business; he has served in board and leadership roles of alumni organizations and community non profits. Along with his wife Kyung and his two children, Jerry lives in Southern California.
