About this Event
The Department of Chemistry & Biochemistry seeks to spend intentional social time together as faculty and student colleagues, to lower the barrier to casual conversation between students and faculty, and to help students see faculty as whole persons with whom they can relate for more than just course content. We will make a variety of efforts in this direction months and years but our first such effort is this Scavenger Hunt. Any member of the Hope community is welcome to participate! You’ll need to talk to faculty (before and after classes whether in person or remote, in the Science Center hallways, in Office Hours, by email) to “find” many of the “items” in this Scavenger Hunt. We’re looking forward to the conversations!

Work on them Friday March 5 – Friday March 12, 2021 alone or in groups!
On Friday 3/12 at 4pm we’ll share answers in our usual weekly Google Meet Chemistry Seminar slot (https://meet.google.com/tdp-atmt-bhm)

There will be small prizes delivered the week of 3/15 for those who participate!
Starting at about 4:30pm we’ll also do some general advising, so if you are thinking about a chemistry or biochemistry major (5 different tracks!) or minor or wondering what you might take next, that’s an additional incentive to come.
