Binary Viewer Web App
Presenters: Ryan Allspach, Emily Dirkse
Mentor – Ryan McFall
Abstract:
Binary Viewer is a tool that helps users understand how sequences of binary data can be interpreted according to the rules of different file formats. Data can be loaded from files or urls, or entered directly as text. The data is displayed in decimal and each byte in many other interpretations. For file formats that the application knows how to interpret, format-specific information is displayed to help the user understand how the data is structured. Currently the application understands BMP images and FAT12 file systems.
Synlesa
Presenters: Tatiana Beran, Luke Van Hout
Mentor – Mike Jipping
Abstract:
Synlesa was built to allow students to communicate about the Big Read books directly. The Big Read is a collaboration of schools where students all read the same books and then share discussions, art, and events surrounding the topics of the book. This will allow readers to engage in discussion over books and challenge each other’s thoughts and ideas
