About this Event
27 Graves Place, Holland, MI 49423-3617
Tim has developed applications, both professionally and personally, for the past 15 years. But he didn’t just use his programming skills to create his own applications; he also uses them to customize other software. In this talk, Tim will share many examples of where he has used these skills to code, even when he didn't have the original source code: times when he modified or reverse engineered software in order to improve it. This talk will cover a diverse range of topics, from clinical devices to video games. Tim will show the basics of many of the skills that he uses every day supporting software he didn't develop.
Bio: Tim graduated from Hope in 2013, with degrees in Computer Science and Math. Since then, he co-founded a software development company called Hex Innovation with fellow Hope graduate John Stathakis, and worked full-time for remote clients until August 2018, when he started working as a software developer who also does some IT work at Great Lakes Eye Care.
