DESCRIPTION:The public is invited. Admission is free.\n\nThe Concert Band w
 ill perform a wide variety of music and showcase a number of student condu
 ctors from the music-education program. Selections will include works from
  Tylman Susato\, Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart\, David Maslanka\, Dana Wilson\, 
 John Paulson\, Claude Debussy\, Stephen McNeff\, and Henry Fillmore.\n\nA 
 full band of about 70 performers\, the Concert Band is open to all student
 s and community members from the Holland and Zeeland area\, and is directe
 d by Gabe Southard. Southard will also be joined onstage by guest narrator
  Samantha Savalle.\n\nThe Concert Band rehearses and performs standard rep
 ertoire\, and allows music-education students to work on secondary instrum
 ents and rehearsal techniques. The music-education student conductors will
  include senior Katie Baldwin of Normal\, Illinois\; junior Katherine Beau
 doin of Milford\; junior Genevieve DeHart of Hudsonville\; senior Hanna Di
 rkse of Cedar Grove\, Wisconsin\; junior Matt Gilbert of Whitehall\; sopho
 more Charlie Jordan of Grand Rapids\; and sophomore Lian Robinson of Holla
 nd.
