The exhibition is a collaborative project between the De Pree Gallery and the Grand Valley State University Art Gallery. This exhibition of global, contemporary art aims to turn a mirror on the collective world, examining individual isolation, political repression, and collective ennui during the decline of the industrial age.
Drawn from a private collection in the Netherlands, the exhibit features 32 works by international artists, including Louise Bourgeois, Gilbert & George, Richard Long, Edward Burtynsky, Hiroshi Sugimoto, Erwin Wurm, Erwin Olaf, James Aldridge, Salvador Dali, Tony Cragg, Marcel Dzama, Matthew Day Jackson and Ruud van Empel.
“Dusk to Dusk” was organized by the Samek Art Gallery at Bucknell University, curated by Richard Rinehart, director of the Samek Art Gallery, with works generously loaned from The Ekard Collection. The exhibition is toured by Curatorial Assistance Traveling Exhibitions of Pasadena, California.
