DeWitt Student and Cultural Center, Theater
141 East 12th Street, Holland, MI 49423-3607

STEP is hosting a new speaker series called Eavesdropping on the Experts which invites different community leaders to engage in conversations around healthy relationships and interpersonal violence. For our first conversation, our panelists will answer the questions: How can community leaders encourage healthy relationships in college students?

President Scogin, Former Mayor Nancy DeBoer, Jill Whitcomb, Hope’s Equal Opportunity and Title IX Investigator, Jill Nelson from Campus Ministries, and Dr. Sarah Kornfield and Dr. Carrie Bredow from the Women and Gender Studies department will be sharing their expertise over a round table discussion while the audience is invited to listen in, having an opportunity to ask questions following the conversation. This event will be taking place TODAY, November 19th from 6-7:30 pm in the DeWitt Theater. Both students and community members are invited to attend. By taking a seat in the audience, you are taking an active step towards change in our community.
