Faith & Scholarship Discussion Series

Thursday, May 30 at 8:00am to 9:00am

More dates through July 11, 2019

A. Paul Schaap Science Center, 1118
35 East 12th Street, Holland, MI 49423-3605

Faculty, staff and students meet with one another in fellowship to discuss how the breadth of meaning inherent in terms like “faith” and “scholarship” creates a depth of their possible integration. Each week a member of the Hope College faculty will lead a discussion about the integration of faith and scholarship in the context of vocation. This is an excellent opportunity to be part of a broader conversation about these critically important issues.

Thursday, May 30 Becky Schmidt (Kinesiology)
Thursday, June 6 Chuck Cusack (Computer Science)
Thursday, June 13 Todd Wiebe (Van Wylen Library)
Thursday, June 20 Marissa Doshi (Communication)
Thursday, June 27 Amy Freehafer (Boerigter Center)
Thursday, July 11 Tim Schoonveld (Kinesiology)

Coffee, juice, and breakfast snacks will be served. Concludes by 9 am. For more information contact the Center for Ministry Studies at cms@hope.edu. This six weeks series is a result of the Continuum Scholarship Faculty grant program funded by the Provost's Office.
