In honor of Earth Day (April 22) Hope Advocates for Sustainability welcomes author Rev. Kyle Meyaard-Schaap as he discusses the importance of Faithful Advocacy in a Warming World: Our Heritage, Our Calling.
Are you concerned about the climate crisis, but unsure about what to do about it? Climate change can feel overwhelming, but climate action can be simpler than you might think! Come learn about one action you can start taking right away to work for a safer and more stable climate: advocacy. We'll learn about the history of recent environmental successes, explore the Biblical roots of advocacy, and practice doing some climate advocacy together.
His latest book is titled "Following Jesus in a Warming World: A Christian Call to Climate Action"
