Dr. Davia J. Crutchfield is a native of Cincinnati, Ohio. She received her
bachelor’s degree from The Ohio State University, and her master’s and doctoral degrees in Communication from Howard University. Dr. Crutchfield holds certificates in the areas of International Studies, Ecumenism, Women’s Studies, and Entrepreneurship. She describes herself as “a woman who lives to love, to learn, and to share the gifts of both.”

An arts, entertainment, history, theology, and humanities enthusiast Dr.
Crutchfield’s research includes interdisciplinary examinations of race, sex, gender, and Christianity.  Her creativity, inquisitiveness, and love of mysteries translate into her writing and personal style. She believes that when love and collaboration meet hand-in-hand, the results are revolutionary.
