This presentation will explore the experiences of Latina/o/x students on our campus, focusing on their sense of belonging. It seeks to answer the question: How do different aspects of the college experience affect the sense of belonging among Latina/o/x students at Hope College? Additionally, it will compare the experiences of three specific groups: international students from Latin America (F1), Latino domestic students who identify racially as White (WI), and Latino domestic students who identify racially as non-White or "other" (NWI). The goal is to understand how and under what circumstances these groups' experiences of belonging differ or remain the same.
