Professor Quonekuia A. Day is a full-time Instructor of Old Testament and Biblical
Hebrew at Gordon-Conwell Theological Seminary (GCTS), teaching at the Boston campus and
the Hispanic Ministries Program at South Hamilton, Massachusetts. She holds a B.A. in Economics from Emmanuel College, M.S.W. from Boston University, M.Div. and Th.M. from Gordon-Conwell Theological Seminary, and is presently concluding a Ph.D. program at London School of Theology in Northwood, England. Professor Day has lectured at Pine Manor College and the University of Vermont, as well as directed Old Testament seminars for Vision New
England and most recently serving as a guest panelist on sexuality for the Jude 3 apologetics conference, “Courageous Conversations.”
Prior to teaching at GCTS, she worked as a licensed clinical social worker for Brigham and Women’s Hospital, case management social worker for Harvard Vanguard Medical Associates, and family treatment specialist and substance abuse counselor at Dimock Community Health Center, all located in Boston. Professor Day is an ordained minister in the Church of God, Cleveland, Tennessee with over 25 years of ministry experience, having served as a counselor, mediator, outreach minister, stewardship leader, Sunday school and discipleship teacher, and prayer ministry participant. She is the proud parent of two charismatic children, Alvin and Madison Day.
