DESCRIPTION:Faculty and guest musicians will present “From Armenian Dance
  to Argentinian Tango” on Sunday\, Oct. 27 at 3 p.m. at Hope College in 
 the Concert Hall of the Jack H. Miller Center for Musical Arts.\n\nThe pub
 lic is invited. Admission is free.\n\nViolinist Mihai Craioveanu\, cellist
  Alicia Eppinga and pianist Christina Giuca-Krause will perform Arno Babaj
 anian’s “Trio in F # Minor” and Astor Piazzolla’s “Four Seasons 
 of Buenos Aries.”  A reception will follow in the lobby.\n\nThe program 
 brings together Armenian and Argentinian folk and popular-inspired music w
 ritten by iconic composers of these cultures. “The Trio in F sharp minor
 ” by renowned Armenian composer Arno Babajanian combines the soulful tou
 ch of Armenian song with the exuberant energy of the Armenian dance rhythm
 .  “The Four Seasons of Buenos Aires” is by celebrated Argentine tango
  composer Astor Piazzolla\, and the piece is a cornerstone of the tango re
 pertoire.\n\nThe event will be led by Craioveanu\, who is a professor of m
 usic at Hope. Giuca-Krause performs with the Chicago Lyric Opera and North
 western University\, while Eppinga is principal cellist of the Grand Rapid
 s Symphony and cello instructor at Hope College.\n\nThe concert is sponsor
 ed by a grant from the Patrons for the Arts at Hope College.\n\nAudience m
