DESCRIPTION:The Hope College Department of Music will present a “Homecomi
 ng Gala Concert” featuring multiple ensembles and faculty soloists on Fr
 iday\, Oct. 22\, at 7:30 p.m. in the Concert Hall of the Jack H. Miller Ce
 nter for Musical Arts.\n\nThe public is invited.  Admission is free.\n\nTh
 e concert will feature performances by the Hope College Orchestra\, direct
 ed by Christopher Fashun\; Jazz Arts Collective\, directed by Robert Shipl
 ey\; Wind Ensemble\, directed by Gabe Southard\; and Chapel Choir\, direct
 ed by Eric Reyes.  The concert will also feature music faculty soloists Sa
 rah Vandebrink\, soprano\; David Keep\, piano\; and Gabe Southard\, flute.
 \n\nAudience members who need assistance to fully enjoy any event at Hope 
 are encouraged to contact the college’s Events and Conferences Office by
  emailing events@hope.edu or calling 616-395-7222 on weekdays between 9 a.
 m. and 5 p.m. Updates related to events are posted when available in the i
 ndividual listings at hope.edu/calendar\n\nDue to the ongoing global COVID
 -19 pandemic\, Hope is currently requiring that masks be worn by all indiv
 iduals while indoors on campus unless in their living space or alone in th
