Dr. Paul Glewwe (Applied Economics, University of Minnesota) will speak on "Education Policies in Developing Countries: What We Know, and What We Don't (Yet) Know" in a public lecture Monday, October 15. Glewwe is a leading expert on education policy in the developing world. Working with the World Bank and the U.N., he has researched extensively in Nepal and Vietnam, among many other places. His lecture will address the current state of education in the developing world and, particularly, the policies that improve educational outcomes. A brief time for audience Q&A will follow.
