About this Event
272 Columbia Avenue Holland, MI
Many people today have no idea what real friendship is - the kind of friendship that contributes substantially to one's happiness and well-being. That is because we tend to confuse friendship with companionship. We also tend to choose our friends according to our political beliefs and attitudes: politics is more important to us than friendship. This has not always been the case.
Question: Is there a way of better understanding friendship and politics alike that might support relationships more conducive to personal and social well-being? This talk shows that there is.
Please join the Tocqueville Forum, the Political Science Department and the American Enterprise Institute in welcoming Dr. David Corey, Professor of Political Science at Baylor University.
