 en: The Musical” on Nov. 14-15 and 20-22 at 7:30 p.m.\, along with a 2 p.m.

 Theatre\, located in the DeWitt Student & Cultural Center.\n\nDirected by L
 ucy Malmsten\, visiting assistant professor of theatre\, “Little Women” is 
 based on Louisa May Alcott’s beloved novel\, follows the March family and t
 akes place in Concord\, Massachusetts\, from December 1863 through 1866. Si
 sters Meg\, Jo\, Beth\, and Amy grow into their roles in society\, experien
 cing life’s many adventures\, traveling the world\, falling in love\, and d
 ealing with deep losses. Through it all\, they learn that\, no matter what 
 life may throw at them\, family is forever.\n\nAs we grow nearer to the ope
 ning of this production\, Malmsten says\, "We are so excited to bring this 
 beloved classic to the Hope College community. ‘Little Women: The Musical’ 
 draws us into the heart of the March family\, inspiring us to live with cou
 rage and to follow our finest dreams\, whatever path they may lead us on. I
 t’s a story full of warmth\, laughter\, and love — making for an especially

 ased ticket\, the Sunday\, Nov. 16 matinee is free to the public. The Satur
 day\, Nov. 22 production will serve as “Accessibility Saturday\,” which fea
 tures optional live captioning\, sensory-friendly light and sound design\, 
 and DeWitt Theatre’s standard hearing loop.\n\nAbout the Theatre Team\n\nIn
  addition to Malmsten\, the college’s production team consists of Em Allen 
 as guest scenic designer\; Michelle Bombe – chair of the department – as co
 stume designer\; Eric Van Tassell – assistant professor of lighting and sou
