Economics is one of three critical elements supporting a “triple bottom line” sustainability framework. How do businesses make long-term investments? How do individuals make “green” investments? How does recycling impact economics?

About the Series:  We offer FREE educational events which aim to educate and empower Holland community to live more sustainably.  The series is brought to you by the following sponsor organizations, with additional endorsing partners that assist with individual events relevant to their respective missions:

-City of Holland, as part of the Sustainability Committee’s efforts
-GreenMichigan.org
-Herrick District Library, as part of the Library’s adult programming series
-Hope College, as part of the Sustainability Institute
-League of Women Voters, as part of the Natural Resource Committee’s efforts

-West Michigan Environmental Action Council

The series is led by the Holland-Hope College Sustainability Institute as part of their community education programming. The series follows the City of Holland's Sustainability Framework for creating a more sustainable community for all.
