Milestone Weekend offers celebratory events specific to the Class of 1974 as well as learning opportunities, arts and athletic events for everyone to enjoy. Reserve your spot today to reminisce, rediscover and reconnect with the Hope College community!
Highlights include the Milestone Celebration at the Jack H. Miller Center for Musical Arts on Thursday, May 16. Beginning at 5:30 p.m., you'll have the chance to meet Distinguished Alumni Award recipients Nontsikelelo (Ntsiki) Sisulu-Singapi ’97 and Dr. Robert Motzer ’77. The program will begin at 6:30 p.m. and will feature Jenn Drummond '01. You may have read about her in our most recent edition of News from Hope College. Entrepreneur, survivor, mountaineer, mom of seven, world record holder and author. As the first woman to climb the world’s Seven Second Summits, she's “QuitProof.”
Friday's schedule offers multiple learning opportunities with Milestone Sessions beginning at 9 a.m. Faculty, staff and alumni have put together a dynamic and engaging schedule that offers something for everyone!
The Class of 1974 will celebrate their 50th Reunion on Friday and continue the fun with brunch on Saturday at the Holland Civic Center. The 50-Year Circle Ceremony will wrap up in time for a Holland Bus Tour, all of which will bring us back to campus in time for further Milestone Sessions on Saturday afternoon.
