DESCRIPTION:The minor is designed to help you think about Christian faith\,
  calling\, and the practice of ministry understood broadly.  It consists o
 f a variety of courses from current disciplines (such as Religion\, Commun
 ication\, and Psychology) as well as some additional Ministry courses and 
 an internship.\n\nThe Studies in Ministry minor has three different tracks
 :  Youth Ministry\, Worship Leadership\, Social Witness. It will help to p
 repare you for such ministries as:\n\n- youth ministry\n- worship leadersh
 ip\n- leadership within community development\, missions\, and social agen
 cies\n- lay ministry within the church\n- where appropriate\, future semin
 ary training and theological education\n\nIf you are currently involved in
  ministry opportunities and/or are discerning whether a non-ordained minis
 try position might be a part of your calling\, we encourage you to think a
