Van Wylen Library, Granberg Room 222
53 Graves Place, Holland, MI 49423-3617

Freshmen and Sophomores: The Studies in Ministry minor is an interdisciplinary minor intended for students who are discerning a call to Christian ministry. The minor is designed to help you think about Christian faith, calling, and the practice of ministry, understood broadly.  It consists of a variety of courses from current disciplines (such as Religion, Communication, and Psychology) as well as some additional Ministry courses and an internship.

The Studies in Ministry minor has three different tracks:  Youth Ministry, Worship Leadership, Social Witness. It will help to prepare you for such ministries as:
- youth ministry
- worship leadership
- leadership within community development, missions, and social agencies
- lay ministry within the church
- where appropriate, future seminary training and theological education

If you are currently involved in ministry opportunities and/or are discerning whether a non-ordained ministry position might be a part of your calling, we encourage you to think about this minor.

Two options:
Tuesday, October 26 11 AM
Wednesday, October 27 4 PM
