The Council on Undergraduate Research is excited to announce that the National Conference on Undergraduate Research (NCUR) will be held virtually—from wherever is comfortable with a Wifi connection—on April 12-14, 2021. NCUR is dedicated to promoting undergraduate research, scholarship, and creative activity in all fields of study by sponsoring an annual conference for students. Unlike meetings of academic professional organizations, this gathering of student scholars welcomes presenters from all institutions of higher learning across all disciplines.
18 of our Hope College students have been accepted to present at this national research conference.
Erick Alvarado, Michael Bonagura, Jamie Breyfogle, Caroline Burkhardt, Nathan Koorndyk, Paulina Kozan, Kworweinski Lafontant, Adolfo Magarin, Eliese Moelker, Makena Mugambi, Kaelyn Poirier, Jessica Robinson, Vanessa Sauer, Mikaela Stephan, Samuel Vokal, Emma Wabel, Abigail Wallar, Mikayla Zobeck
Individual and group presentations range from oral, to poster, to visual arts.
Check out this LINK for the date/time/link of our 12 presentations, along with research titles, department, and faculty mentor listing.
UPDATE: Out of concern for student safety/online integrity, NCUR 2021@Home will only allow students, faculty, and staff who are registered for the entire conference to view the live presentations. We encourage you to reach out and support our Hope student presenters beforehand or follow-up after the presentation date/time to see how it went. Thank you.
Let's show our support!
