About this Event
86 East 8th Street, Holland, MI 49423-3504
The Hope College Knickerbocker Theatre is again partnering with Access Contemporary Music (ACM) to host an evening of live music and silent film on Friday, Oct. 9, at 7 p.m.
Access Contemporary Music’s popular Sound of Silent Film Festival, now in its 21st year, is a unique event featuring new short silent films in every conceivable genre – spanning comedy, drama, experimental, and beyond – screened with specially composed musical scores performed live.
The films are selected from an international call, which this year resulted in over 100 submissions. The evening features eight films selected from that competition, along with two films from previous years.
The musicians include faculty members from Hope College, Michigan State University, and Grand Valley State University.
