About this Event
272 Columbia Avenue Holland, MI
by Amy Berryman
Twin sisters Stella and Cassie have both been raised by their father to become successful astronauts working for NASA. However, the sisters have taken completely different journeys. Cassie has continued to work at NASA and become very successful in her field, hoping to one day reside in the first moon colony. Stella, on the other hand, has left that life behind for a new one with her fiancé, Bryan, on an Earth that is hanging on by its last thread. Set in a not-so-distant future, the two sisters reunite after years of being apart. As they reconnect, old tensions and problems rise to the surface, they must make difficult decisions both for themselves and humanity as a whole.
This staged reading is a collaboration of Green Hope, Hope Advocates for Sustainability, the Center for Diversity and Inclusion, the Department of Theatre and the Many Voices Project.
