DESCRIPTION:Take Back the Night (TBTN) is an international event and an org
 anization with the mission of ending sexual violence and reclaiming the ni
 ght for survivors. During TBTN\, we celebrate and commemorate those people
  who constantly surprise us with their resilience\; we protest rape and ot
 her types of interpersonal violence\; and we stand in spite of those who a
 buse power and try to make us live in fear of the night. TBTN is about cel
 ebrating everyday activism: the radical notion that everyone can play a pa
 rt in ending violence and oppression by resisting rape culture\, supportin
 g survivors\, and challenging our institution. We walk around to important
  spots on campus and individuals read their testimonies and relay powerful
  stories.
