The Big Read Documentary Film Screening: The Public

Tuesday, November 5, 2019 at 7:00pm to 9:00pm

Knickerbocker Theatre, Main Theatre
86 East 8th Street, Holland, MI 49423-3504

In contrast to a regime of tyranny where a person's welfare is of no consequence, we live in a democracy where the protection and promotion of our rights, interests, and welfare are expected. This film tackles some of our democratic nation's most challenging issues, including poverty, homelessness, and mental illness, and portrays the library as one of the last bastions of democracy in action.
