Natalie Scenters-Zapico is author of The Verging Cities (Center for Literary Publishing 2015), which won the 2016 Great Lakes Colleges Association’s New Writers Award, the National Association for Chicana/o Studies Tejas FOCO Award, and was featured as a top ten debut of 2015 by Poets and Writers. A CantoMundo fellow, her poems have appeared in American Poets, The Believer, Prairie Schooner, West Branch, Best American Poetry 2015 and more. She is the 2017 Poet-In-Residence at Westminster College.

Lauren Acampora's debut collection of linked stories, The Wonder Garden, was published in May 2015 by Grove Atlantic. It was named a Barnes & Noble Discover Great New Writers selection and an Indie Next selection, and was chosen as one of the best books of the year by Amazon and NPR. It won the GLCA New Writers Award, was a finalist for the New England Book Award, and was on the longlist for The Story Prize.

Lauren's short fiction has also appeared in publications such as The Paris Review, Missouri Review, Prairie Schooner, New England Review, Antioch Review, and Day One. She graduated from Brown University, earned an MFA at Brooklyn College, and has received fellowships from the MacDowell Colony, the Ucross Foundation, Writers OMI International Residency, and the Ragdale Foundation. Raised in Connecticut, Lauren now lives in Westchester County, New York, with her husband, artist Thomas Doyle, and their daughter.
