We invite high school voice teachers and their students to the Voice Master Class at Hope College Department of Music on Saturday, January 25 from 9 a.m.–noon.

The master class will be held in the recital hall at the Jack Miller Center for the Musical Arts on 221 Columbia Ave, Holland, MI 49423

In the master class, each student will work with one of our professors of voice and receive coaching on a piece of music they bring and are prepared to sing. Each student will receive advice on technique, tone and musical interpretation. Students will also learn as they listen to others sing and hear our voice professors work with their peers. There is rich learning that takes place in a small setting where we mutually learn from one another in a master class. This is a great way for students to better prepare for the MSVMA Solo and Ensemble Festival in February!

Register for the (free!) Masterclass on this Google sheet. Please register by Monday, January 20.

Our voice faculty leading the master class are:

Dr. Jung Woo Kim
Professor Linda Dykstra

Please contact deboer@hope.edu if you have any questions about the class.
