Testimonials by outstanding senior students reflecting on their experiences at Hope College will be featured during the Hope College Senior Recognition and Women of Color Celebration on Wednesday, April 8, at 5 p.m. at the Haworth Inn and Conference Center.
The students scheduled to speak are seniors Brittany Henkin of St. Charles, Illinois; Rebeca Masís Cubero of San José, Costa Rica; Savannah Myers Moore of Ann Arbor; and Emily Wolfe of Hartland. Also included in the evening celebration will be a senior recognition for all graduating students of color.
This event is hosted by the Hope College Center for Diversity and Inclusion in collaboration with Student Development.
Advance registration is required by Wednesday, April 1, or whenever tickets are sold out. Tickets, which include dinner, are free for Hope students, $15 for members of the Hope faculty and staff, and $20 for the general public, and are available at the Events and Conferences Office located in downtown Holland in the Anderson-Werkman Financial Center (100 E. Eighth St.). The ticket office is open weekdays from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. and can be reached at 616-395-7890. Tickets will not be available at the door.
